I ordered the ARTRAX SE3 REAR TIRE and mounted it in mid September. The knobby pattern looked good, the knobs were a bit short, but it is an intermediate compound, this tire might actually work after all. My first ride on it wasn't good and I was ready to peel it off. It didn't hook up as well as my old worn out Bridgestone that I had just pulled off to put this tire on. I played with air pressure over the next 2 rides and got it to work slightly better with lower pressure. Not great, just better. I now have 5 rides on it and it is junk. There is a little under 1/8" of knob left and I only have 483 miles on it! I can get 1000 - 1200 miles out of a Dunlop or Bridgestone, and you will have better control over the bike with one of them on as well.
Below is a picture taken this afternoon after I washed my bike from yesterday's ride. As you can see it is basically a racing slick after less than 500 miles. Stay away form these tires, spend the extra $25 - $30 on a good tire that you know.

Thank you for the eval, I was thinking the same as you & about to give it a test try. Got a new Bridgestone instead. V/R Mike

I have to laugh at this! Here we go...hahahahahahahaha!!!! We run these tires for practice and they have out lasted several of our bridgestone and maxxis applications. Burnouts hyways and high psi makes your tires look like this...stupid idiots. If your on a budjet...buy em! We have 16 bikes and limited funds...these make sence to us...who ever posted this pic either had the wrong tire for the terrian or abused the shit out of it. Dont see any off road wear and looks like pavement riding to me.
Glad you had a good laugh over this. If you like them, I'm happy for you but I won't buy another one, which should make you happy, more Artrax tires for you. I keep a log (oil changes, chains, bearings, tires etc) on all of my bikes and checked it before posting this ... the last 3 rear Dunlop 606's I have ran have averaged just over 1400 miles each. By the way, I have been riding off road 44 years, the Artrax was ran at 15 PSI and when I ride the KTM, it's 90% trail and forest road (dirt/gravel) riding dual sport. Asphalt is only a necessary evil to get to the dirt. Next time you call someone a stupid idiot you really ought to spell check before you post (your should be you're, budjet is budget and sence should be sense).
